Girl Dad Night at Victory Field was a home run! On Friday, June 13, Girls Inc. Indy was proud to be the featured community partner for the Indianapolis Indians’ Spark for Change Night.The evening celebrated girls and the dads and father figures who show up for them.

One of the most memorable moments of the evening was watching our own Maxine Pounds and her dad, Dante, take the field for a special first pitch. Later that night, our girls had the exciting honor of launching the Friday Night Fireworks.

Thank you to Indianapolis Indians Charities for partnering with us, and to Goelzer Investment Management for hitting it out of the park with a $10K matching gift to “Double the Impact” of our Girl Dad campaign.
