Girls Inc. of Greater Indianapolis Announces Cummins as Eureka! Presenting Sponsor Through Transformational Three-Year Partnership

INDIANAPOLIS (October 15, 2026)—Girls Inc. of Greater Indianapolis (Girls Inc. Indy) announces Cummins Inc. as the presenting sponsor of its Eureka! STEM program through a transformational three-year partnership. The commitment marks a significant new chapter in the organizations’ longstanding relationship and shared investment in the next generation of STEM leaders.

Cummins’ investment strengthens the sustainability of Eureka!, a 5-year program designed to grow alongside girls. Each year builds on the last, allowing participants to deepen their STEM knowledge, take on new challenges, and apply what they’ve learned through increasingly advanced opportunities. Partnering with an industry leader like Cummins connects learning to the people and workplaces shaping the future of STEM, helping girls see themselves in careers they may never have considered.

“For girls to envision themselves as future engineers, scientists, and innovators, they need opportunities to explore, people who believe in them, and consistent support as they grow,” said Lindsay Gramlich, President & CEO of Girls Inc. Indy. “Cummins has been a foundational partner in creating those opportunities. This three-year commitment is transformational for our organization and the girls we serve, strengthening a program that helps girls turn curiosity into confidence and ambition into a path forward.”

Eureka! is a STEM, leadership, and college and career readiness program serving girls in grades eight through twelve. Participants engage in hands-on STEM learning, leadership development, and experiences that connect classroom concepts to real careers. Monthly workshops and field trips during the school year complement four-week summer STEM camps for younger participants and four-week paid internships for older participants. Throughout the program, girls build connections with peers, mentors, and professionals while preparing for life after high school.

The presenting sponsorship builds on years of collaboration between Cummins and Girls Inc. Indy. Cummins has welcomed Eureka! participants into its workplace for hands-on STEM exploration led by employees, helping girls see how their interests can translate into professional opportunities. The organizations have also partnered on the annual Advocacy Day, which celebrated its fifth year in 2026. Through conversations with Cummins leaders and visits with legislators at the Indiana Statehouse, girls practice using their voices and see leadership in action.

Together, these experiences reflect a partnership that connects STEM exploration with leadership, self-advocacy, and exposure to new possibilities. Cummins’ expanded commitment carries that work forward, reinforcing the importance of investing in girls over time as they discover their strengths and shape their futures.

“Our partnership with Girls Inc. of Greater Indianapolis reflects our commitment to creating meaningful opportunities for women and girls to advance,” said Tonya Sisco, executive director, Corporate Responsibility at Cummins. “Through Cummins Powers Women, we have helped positively impact more than 1 million women and girls worldwide by expanding opportunities and helping break down barriers. This three-year commitment builds on our longstanding collaboration with Girls Inc. of Greater Indianapolis and expands access to STEM experiences, skills and career pathways that can help more young women and girls across Indianapolis realize their potential and prepare for opportunities of the future.”
