At Girls Inc. of Greater Indianapolis  (Girls Inc. Indy) our mission is made possible by the incredible volunteers who generously share their time, talents, and hearts. As our volunteer network continues to grow, so does the impact we can make together.

This spring and summer, several outstanding volunteer groups rolled up their sleeves to make a difference for participants of Girls Inc. Indy’s summer experiences. From assembling essential supplies to writing encouraging notes, each act of service helped create a stronger and more supportive experience for the girls and families we serve. Here’s a look at what we’ve been up to.

Cox Automotive | May 13, 2026

Girls Inc. Indy partnered with Cox Automotive for a volunteer event in support of our summer programming. Together, volunteers assembled snack packs and wrote encouraging notes for girls attending Creative Discovery Camp, Eureka! STEM Camp, and Leadership Academy.

These thoughtful touches helped remind our girls that they are surrounded by people who believe in them as they stepped into a summer filled with opportunities to learn, lead, and grow.

Deloitte | June 5, 2026

The Deloitte team spent their Volunteer Impact Day with Girls Inc. Indy, supporting our community in a meaningful way. 

Volunteers assembled 300 hygiene kits for Girls Inc. Indy participants and snack packs for United Way. Their time, energy, and generosity will help ensure local girls and families have access to essential resources and support.

Girls Inc. Indy board members Rico Francis and Kristin Froehle brought together community members and supporters for a volunteer event at the Girls Inc. Indy office.

Working side by side, the group prepared 250 sack lunches and snack packs for girls attending our summer experiences. Volunteers also wrote encouraging notes to include with each lunch and donated additional snacks for campers to enjoy throughout the week.

Thank you to Rico, Kristin, and everyone who volunteered their time to help ensure our girls had the nourishment and encouragement they needed to thrive this summer.
