Girls Inc. of Greater Indianapolis Board of Directors and staff are thrilled to welcome Leslie Scott as the organization’s new Chief Development Officer. Scott will lead the development and communications team at Girls Inc. Indy.

Scott has spent thirteen years in fund development, most recently with the Girl Scouts of Central Indiana, where she was charged with launching their robust monthly giving program and created a thriving alumna association. She also served as Development Director at the American Diabetes Association in the greater Southfield, Michigan area spearheading their Tour de Cure campaign and aided in increasing their corporate and community outreach and advocacy efforts.

Scott is passionate about the remarkable journey of women and girls and is proud to come from a strong, smart and bold mother who empowered her from an early age to confidently own her personal story as a woman. “I am truly honored to join the Girls Inc. of Greater Indianapolis team. I’m excited to help strategically cultivate fundraising efforts to reach girls who need the hands-on programming that Girls Inc. offers to empower them to be strong, smart, and bold,” says Scott.

Scott holds a Bachelor’s in Journalism from Wayne State University and a Master’s in Public Administration from the Illinois Institute of Technology. She started her position as Chief Development Officer at Girls Inc. Indy on July 1.
