Girls Inc. Indy is so thankful for those who joined us for the Girls Inc. Indy 50th Anniversary Volunteer Celebration event on April 15! Whether you are a current volunteer, a former volunteer, or a guest wanting to learn more, we hope you enjoyed the evening as much as we did!

Our volunteers and guests gathered on the Salesforce Tower 47th Floor, a one-of-kind space with 360-degree views of Indy. The evening was filled with fun and interactive activities, handmade keepsakes, delicious food, local beer/wine, a photo booth, and the creation of a memento to commemorate the milestone. Most importantly we shared stories of impact from the last 50 years of service and talked about the possibilities that await us in the next 50 years.

WTHR Anchor and fellow Girls Inc. Indy volunteer, Alyssa Raymond, joined us as the keynote speaker. She shared her experiences as a Girls Inc. Indy volunteer and shared a message of inspiration, empowerment, and hope for the future of girls in our community. During the evening we honored two inspirational volunteers, Donna Brown and Tameca Perkins. Each have made a significant impact within the community and organization. Congratulations again to Donna Brown and Tameca Perkins on being awarded Volunteers of the Year!

With the help of our volunteers, we were able to serve nearly 4,000 girls in the Indianapolis community in 2018. Together, we can empower and impact even more in the future. If you or someone you know would like more information on volunteer opportunities or how to donate, please visit our website.

Thank you again for making the evening so special and for continuously supporting our mission to inspire all girls to be strong, smart, and bold!
