We have launched a new volunteer portal which will serve as an online community and a 24/7 link to Girls Inc. of Greater Indianapolis. This portal has easier and more visible access for the convenience of our volunteers. Current or prospective volunteers can access it by clicking the red ‘Volunteer Portal Log In’ button available on our home page.
Volunteers with an application date prior to Jan. 15 should have received communications from the volunteer staff on Feb. 7 introducing the new portal, along with initial usernames and passwords, and instructions for profile setup. Profiles can easily be updated at any time, including updating passwords via the ‘forgot password’ option.
We are excited to provide this digital platform for our volunteers that will allow them to use many new features. Those who are interested in volunteering can apply to volunteer with Girls Inc. through the portal by creating their own profile.
Following the creation of a profile, volunteers will be able to sign up for programming opportunities, check their schedule, and log their service hours. The portal also provides an opportunity to connect with our volunteer staff and stay up to date with Girls Inc. news. The portal is mobile friendly so volunteers can access it on the go, at any time.
Volunteers will be able to sign up for our Fall I cycle of programs beginning July 6. Fall I cycle will take place Aug. 6 through Oct. 5.
