“I am the Administrative Assistant and support the CEO, COO and VP of Development and PR.”

Q: What about the Girls Inc. mission appeals to you?

“All of it! I’m the mom of an 11 year old daughter and I try to encourage her to be strong, smart and bold in everything she does.  The programs that Girls Inc. offers are relevant to ALL girls!  They face these kinds of issues every day, as I see through the eyes of my daughter.  Being a part of an organization that not only recognizes this but addresses it in such an impactful way is amazing!”

Q: How are you strong, smart, and bold?

“I recently made a complete career change and left a job I had been at for 14 years, definitely pretty bold!  I’m strong because I work out regularly and eat healthy (but love cake too)!  And I have to be pretty smart to be a mom of an 11 and 8 year old, juggle school and sports schedules, and incorporate much needed relaxing family time.”

“I think young girls are often conditioned to not feel good enough. I love that Girls Inc. strives to show girls what makes them unique while also teaching them life skills and building up their confidence.
