Finally, well in 2020, there will be a new face on the #TheNew10. The U.S. government will be catching up with the times of gender equality and putting the face of a woman on the ten dollar bill. The New York Times reported that the year 2020 was chosen because it will be “the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment, which gave women the right to vote.”

Who will the woman be, might you ask? It’s undecided until the public has a say in the matter.  At this time the Treasury Secretary Jacob Lew has said that they are “looking for a woman who was a champion for our inclusive democracy.”
