Be A Volunteer Program Facilitator!
Team up with a friend or co-worker to lead fun, hands-on activities for greater Indianapolis girls. Girls Inc. of Greater Indianapolis partners with schools, youth organizations, and other community groups to offer empowering programs for girls. Volunteers who lead our programs bring the enthusiasm and relatability that enriches the girls’ experiences.
Girls Inc. ensures that all of our programs are age-appropriate for girls by customizing the content for each of our age groups: 6-8, 9-11, and 12-14. We equip volunteers with easy-to-use activity lessons, supplies, training, and ongoing support from a Girls Inc. staff member.

Who Is A Volunteer Program Facilitator?
A program facilitator embodies our mission as a strong, smart, and boldSM woman and is flexible, responsible, punctual, and responsive to the needs of girls. Facilitators recognize the specific challenges girls face and help them overcome these challenges. They engage girls in inquiry-based, hands-on learning (made possible with our easy-to-use curriculum), and they have an interest in working with children and a desire to work with diverse populations.
