Maria Quintana-HIGH RES

Ms. Maria Quintana’s passion for investing in her community led her to found Q2u Strategic Advisory Group. Q2u is unique in its approach drawing on an MBE/WBE team of seasoned executives collaborating and leveraging their talents to focus on where the need is the greatest. Q2u offers direct and sustained engagement for organizations, starting with effective decision-making, and creates the building blocks for better outcomes.

Ms. Quintana earned her bachelor’s degree from Indiana University Kelley School of Business and holds an MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University and has over 37 years of business experience. As a trusted advisor to the highest levels of business, government, not-for-profit and healthcare, she is a former Senior Policy Advisor with Bose Public Affairs Group. Ms. Quintana has extensive commercial and public finance experience as Executive Vice President and Managing Director with JPMorgan Chase including many of the State of Indiana’s most significant financial transactions.

In 2015, she received one of the State of Indiana’s highest honors, the Sagamore of the Wabash, presented by our current Vice President of the United States, former Governor, Mike Pence. Also in 2015, she was a Girls Inc. Touchstone Honoree and that same year received the Lifetime Pass the Torch Achievement Award. In 2014, she received the NFL’s Hispanic Heritage Leadership Award. Quintana was an inductee into the Indianapolis Public Schools Alumni Hall of Fame in 2012 and received the Lis Dailey Award by United Way of Central Indiana for outstanding board service.

Active in the community, Ms. Quintana dedicates her time to advising and assisting numerous organizations. She currently serves as an advisory member of the Local Initiatives Support Corp and co-chair of Great Places 2020. She is a board member of the Ivy Tech Foundation, La Plaza where she chairs its investment committee, Purdue Polytechnic High School, the Jefferson Awards and a member of the marketing committee for Christel House International.

Her previous activities include Commissioner for Thriving Cities Thriving State, the Indiana Latino Institute, the United Way of Central Indiana, the Women’s Fund of Central Indiana, the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis, Independent Colleges of Indiana, the Indianapolis Marion County Building Authority, the Eskenazi Foundation, John Boner Community Center, Indiana CPA Society, Community Centers of Indianapolis, Habitat for Humanity, and the Directors Circle for St. Elizabeth Coleman.
