Girls Inc. is excited to introduce Jennifer Van Dame, our newest full-year AmeriCorps VISTA member. In her role as public affairs specialist, Jennifer will research, develop, and implement an advocacy initiative to address the needs of girls in our community as part of our strategic plan.

“I’m incredibly excited to be joining the Girls Inc. family as the VISTA Public Affairs Specialist! In the next year, I hope to not only learn from all of the talented and passionate staff but also aid in the mission of Girls Inc. by developing a public awareness initiative and promoting local advocacy for the girls of Greater Indianapolis. I’ve been extremely fortunate in being surrounded by “strong, smart, and bold” women throughout my life, but I’m all too aware that many girls lack such mentors. With this in mind, I strongly identify with the mission of Girls Inc., and I hope to get our community excited about the organization and the many girls that have been inspired to be the 'strong, smart, and bold' women of tomorrow.”
