Girls Pledge to "Work It Out"
Abri Hochstetler, Public Relations Coordinator

At the end of each Girls Inc. program, facilitators ask the girls versions of these three questions: What did you learn? Why is it important? Now what will you do with this information/skill? Each session girls reflect on how they will use their new knowledge beyond the program.

As our fall cycle comes to a close, girls in Work It Out consider how to apply what they’ve learned about conflict to their everyday lives. In one session, 9-11-year-old girls made pledges to respect each other, resolve conflicts constructively, and be a better friend. Read India’s personal pledge below to discover how she plans to “work it out” in the future.

What are ways you can "work it out" with a conflict in your life?
