We have a competitive staff. Usually we are pushing ourselves to beat goals or break service records, but once a year we channel this competitive drive into a week of teamwork, hands-on activities, creative challenges, and fundraising for Girls Inc.
Our 2012 staff campaign started with our annual champion theme and expanded into games and activities with an Olympic flare. The week included pop quizzes about the London Summer Olympics, rousing games in Wii Olympics, a viewing of the 1988 Olympic Games gymnastics competition, a robot challenge we’ll also do with our girls for Girls Inc. Day, a Paralympics team relay, and food competition with matching country attire (see below).
And this year we raised more funds than ever before and boasted one-hundred percent staff participation! Thank you to Best Chocolate in Town, Conner Prairie, and Global Gifts for donating items of recognition for our staff.
