IC socialIn recognition of National Ice Cream Month, the American Dairy Association is bringing ice cream to downtown Indianapolis for its 26th annual Ice Cream Social. Over 35 local celebrities and Girls Inc. of Greater Indianapolis volunteers will serve up delicious ice cream sundaes from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, July 10, located on the southeast quadrant of Monument Circle in downtown Indianapolis.

This year, Girls Inc. of Greater Indianapolis will benefit from all proceeds, which amounted to over $6,800 last year.

With a $3 donation, giant sundaes feature Edy’s Slow Churned Light Ice Cream, topped with the choice of Kroger’s chocolate, strawberry, or caramel syrups, a sugar-free caramel option will also be available, as well as jumbo maraschino cherries, sprinkles and Prairie Farm’s whipped cream.

In addition to serving ice cream, there will be face painters, a photo booth, the Pacers Fan Van, and Molly and her calves – real live cows from Purdue Dairy Sciences. All ages are welcomed to come and join the fun.

We hope to see you there!
