Girls Inc. of Greater Indianapolis has been selected as one of three Girls Inc. affiliates to participate in a national two-year study funded by the New York Life Foundation. The goal of the study is to serve 10% more middle school girls and identify the best practices for serving the middle school population. The findings will be shared with the Girls Inc. network across the country and will be implemented as part of a nationwide five-year strategic growth plan.

Not only will Girls Inc. of Greater Indianapolis receive $60,000 to help support salaries, program supplies, and other expenses for the increase in programs, but we will also have the opportunity to showcase our unique service delivery model which has allowed us to reach thousands of girls in Indianapolis.
“We are thrilled to be selected by our national organization for this project,” said Pat Wachtel, president & CEO, “The support from New York Life Foundation will help us continue to grow and serve more Indianapolis girls.”
