Girls Inc. of Greater Indianapolis was honored to receive the Indiana Achievement Award on September 28, 2011. The IAA recognizes Indiana nonprofits for exemplary practices, effectiveness, and leadership. Girls Inc. also received the award in 2008, at the beginning of our operating model change.

“It is such an honor for Girls Inc. to receive this prestigious award a second time,” said Patricia Wachtel, president and CEO. “This award is an affirmation that Girls Inc. and our many program partners, volunteers, and supporters are on the right track in our quest to serve more greater Indianapolis girls.”
