Though the snow and ice have melted, Girls Inc. has been thinking back to the greater Indianapolis girls who were inspired by programs in the winter months. Once again, Girls Inc. is excited to share that we have a record-breaking number of girls participating in programs as well as volunteers delivering our educational and empowering programs.

Here's a glance of our first quarter by the numbers:

• 72 strong, smart, and bold programs delivered - Our most popular program this winter was Work It Out, closely followed by Girls Inc. Project BOLD^® and Girls Inc. Economic Literacy^®.
• 106 volunteers inspired girls - Dedicated volunteers allow us to reach more and more girls each quarter. Thank you to the 74 program facilitators and 32 Lunch Bunch career mentors who inspired girls this winter!
• 971 individual girls served in greater Indianapolis - A record-breaking 971 girls participated in educational and empowering programs in the first quarter of the year.
